The Opportunity

You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth planning, activation, optimisation, reporting and financial process across several paid media campaigns. It will be your responsibility to ensure that strategic directives are followed and are exceeding client expectations.

The Role

  • Overseeing the management of paid search, social and programmatic activity
  • Lead communication with key clients on planning, activation, performance and optimisation strategies.
  • Responsibility for managing the day to day tasks and development of the team’s Account Exec.
  • Proactively taking part in helping to evolve how we work in the department: Account management, reporting, implementation, optimisation and automation, finding efficiencies that can be beneficial for the whole team.
  • Responsibility in helping to drive best practice across SEM and Paid Social and help our stakeholders improve their knowledge and understanding of digital channels.
  • Winning key stakeholders trust (internally and externally) through consistent performance, proactive management and by developing an in-depth understanding of client products.
  • Keeping abreast of trends and thought leadership in paid search and other biddable platforms

Your Profile

  • Knowledge of PPC and/or social with at least 2-3 years’ experience, preferably within an Agency.
  • A drive to learn and build knowledge in other performance channels such as programmatic
  • Excellent understanding of search and paid social techniques (research, optimisation and evaluation).
  • Proven track record across performance clients
  • Must be a confident presenter.
  • Experience in managing employees is essential with the ability to set objectives, prioritize tasks with junior team members and motivate a team being crucial for this role
  • Knowledge of site analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Fundamental understanding of the workings of other performance/direct response channels such as programmatic would be advantageous. 
  • Knowledge of key trends in client and Search market media dynamics
