As a CRM Manager, you will be pivotal to this next gen step forward in the digital publication’s world. 


The Opportunity:

  • Well Respected UK Newspaper, globally recognised – reports on UK & global news, sport, lifestyle, culture 
  • £250m in Revenue 
  • Digital In-House team, massively growing, huge investment in their digital team 
  • CRM – Split between Acquisition & Retention – this role sits on the Retention team 


The Role: 

  • The development, implementation and delivery of successful retention and in-life campaigns including renewals, upselling and loyalty building 
  • Liaising with internal teams, including data & insight, product, engineering, audience planning, business management, creative, awareness and acquisition 
  • Developing and building complex, multichannel, measurable customer journeys via Braze
  • Working with the Data & Insight and planning teams on audience and testing plans 
  • Briefing and debriefing creative work with the in-house studio team 
  • Proof reading and following approvals process for copy and creative 
  • Presenting plans and reviews internally and to external suppliers 
  • Campaign analysis and in-life programme reporting 
  • Working within agreed budget parameters to finance processes


Your Profile:

  • Experience of delivering marketing campaigns across different channels (e.g. email, direct mail, on-platform, social
  • Ability to evaluate campaign performance and make recommendations
  • Experience of Google Analytics
  • Experience using HTML
  • Experience of working with a campaign management tool (e.g. Braze)
  • Experience of managing internal partners and external suppliers
  • Experience working with recurring revenue subscription products
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload
  • Data driven, analytical mind-set
  • Skilled in communicating insights based on data
  • Strong interpersonal skills: social, confident & approachable
