This consumer giant is launching a huge inhouse data integration project. They will be combining their digital and offline data to create a data centre that will allow them to personalise interaction with their 150 million + customers. With an extensive list of over 400 brands there are no boundaries as to what can be achieved with the limitless amount of data they are receiving.

The Role:

This Database Analyst will have the chance to deep dive into untapped data to transform the digital direction of the company and its brands. Supporting the overall strategic development and research with innovation at its core. Liaising with some of the largest household brands and building lasting relationships to support key decisions for the transformation of the business.

 

A strong focus on profiling the data on the customers and providing an actionable story of insight to spearhead the digital transformation

 

This Database Analyst will have a large variety in daily responsibilities including:

 

  • Making sure the data platforms and processes are running well, both in data collection, integration and processing of the CRM
  • Collaborating with the marketing teams in planning and executing media campaigns
  • Troubleshooting any issues with in the database
  • Directly reporting into the Head of CRM
  • Initial mentorship with potential to manage Junior Analysts in the future

 

Skills & Experience:

The most fundamental requirement for this Database Analyst role is an in-depth knowledge of working with CRM/consumer databases and having exceptional reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in SQL server 2005 & 2008
  • Experience working with ESPs
  • Client interaction
  • Experience of database extraction tools such as Fast Stats
