One of the world’s most innovative Media Agency’s is looking for a Digital Director to join their agency. This role will be working on an amazing winning team recognised for its work within UK and Global markets, working on one of the top financial banking clients.

This digital director will manage the strategic approach across digital channels, aligning with activation channel leads to develop the client roadmap: assessing and defining existing and new opportunities, as well as test and learn strategies. You will also oversee the digital planning team, managing their overall output, ensuring consistency in quality of work and adherence to global ad quality standards and ways of working. Working closely with local teams across 33 active European markets.

Role

  • Be seen as the digital lead across 33 markets, local agencies as well as local clients within the client leadership team, setting vision and strategic direction for the function, providing guidance and mentorship for junior members on the team

  • Audit and asses the clients marketing capabilities and aid in building a learning roadmap with strategic digital activation development in mind

  • Work closely with client strategy team and local markets to support and execute the learning agenda whilst gathering learnings that enhance future activity

  • Help drive innovation within the digital space

  • Share insights and learning with the client as well as internal teams to drive a culture of ‘always on’ data-driven planning and decision making.

Person

  • Seeking self-initiating, driven individual who enjoys problem solving digital strategy development

  • Experience within digital media planning and buying, biddable media or programmatic activation.

  • The desire and ability to take a stand and advocate a course of action, presenting supporting facts and data to back up your position.

  • Business acumen, understanding of digital media, data and measurement landscape

  • Able to build strong relationships with internal and external partners

  • Demonstrated excellence in conceptual thinking and analytical problem-solving. You must love data, and should constantly be asking the question "why?”

  • Cross-functional team management and influencing skills
