The Opportunity:
My client is looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to join their B2B division responsible for licensing journalism to organisations around the world, with clients in corporate, finance, government, professional services, and education sectors. The Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and managing marketing campaigns for lead generation and lead nurture working across multiple marketing channels.
The Role:
- Create and implement content marketing campaigns for lead generation across email, website, and paid media.
- Implement agreed marketing campaign tactics and manage the end-to-end process, from copywriting and working with the design team to building digital campaigns, landing pages and emails.
- Develop inbound lead nurture journeys to drive product awareness and education.
- Work closely with the regional marketing teams to ensure that the inbound lead nurture journeys flow seamlessly into sector-focused programmes
- Analyse the database to identify gaps in job title data of top prospects and/or industry sectors.
- Work with third party data providers to source high quality data for content marketing and lead nurture campaigns
- Weekly reporting and analysis of campaign activity
- Identify new opportunities and ideas to optimise marketing campaigns and quality of leads.
- Work in close collaboration with the insight analytics team
- Responsible for managing and prioritising own workload.
What they’re looking for?
- Experience working in digital or email marketing
- Experience years working with marketing automation platforms
- Experience with designing and building emails and campaign assets
- Experience of working in a highly data-driven marketing environment
- Understands how and when different communication tactics should be used to drive lead generation and engagement
- Experience in creating hypotheses and running a/b tests to validate them
- Excellent email marketing and digital skills
- Comfortable working with and interpreting data, used to working with CRM technologies, Salesforce preferred
- Strong project management skills with a keen focus on dates, deliverables and budgets
- Good copywriting skills and experience of working with 3rd party suppliers
- Effective communication skills and evidence of working collaboratively to achieve results
