Are you an experienced Digital Marketing & CRM expert passionate about the Beauty, Health & Wellness sector? Pivotal are delighted to have been retained to conduct a search for a new Digital Marketing Specialist to join this Beauty start-up. Our client is looking for an individual who has built CRM strategies from scratch but remains a hands on practitioner.

 

The Opportunity:

Founded as an incubator and accelerator for early stage beauty and wellness brands in 2019, the current team possess more than 70+ years in C’Level and Executive positions at iconic beauty and luxury brands, including L’Oreal, P&G, Olay and Maybelline. In their debut year, they were recognised by a number of publications and industry insiders as the beauty industry’s most influential early stage investor. Boasting a portfolio of 7 early stage conscious and responsible beauty and wellness brands, the founding team are proud of the pedigree and chemistry of talent within the business, having built a highly successful team of individuals who share a start-up spirit.

They have established themselves as a magnet within the industry – they are a serious business to watch, or potentially join if you are a senior performance marketing master of your craft. Now at an exciting juncture, they are beginning their journey to develop and launch their own beauty brands, with the ultimate goal of building the billion dollar brands of the future. There are lots of career opportunities for a candidate who proves themselves, including Head of Retention and, in time, CMO for one of these brands.

This is an early stage opportunity to join as one of the first members of the team, where you will work closely with the Head of Growth and Founders to develop, launch and scale multiple beauty brands across the next 18 months. You will have the opportunity to learn from some of the best in the business and work alongside individuals who have previously ran $multi-billion beauty companies. You will be given significant marketing budgets to invest across performance marketing channels.

 

Role: Digital Marketing Specialist

  • Lead the planning and implementation of CRM activity, ensuring the right coordination with the multifunctional team to deliver best in class customer experience every time.
  • Manage all aspects of direct to consumer email marketing including list growth via partnerships, Privy, strategic flows, on-going segmentation and marketing communication
  • Drive planning, targeting, build, testing, execution, reporting and optimization of various CRM programs
  • Build an engaged, personalized experience for customers via dynamic content, audience segmentation, cross channel reach, and automated flows
  • Identify opportunities for A/B tests in segmentation and messaging to optimize KPIs such as open rate, click rate, conversion rate, revenue per send
  • Generating key means to build relationships with existing customers, encouraging and driving repeat purchases
  • Lead the SEO programme and work with a retained agency with on-page and off-page campaigns
  • Using Google Analytics and DataStudio to report on weekly performance
  • Work with Head of Performance marketing on-page search campaigns and affiliate marketing.

 

We Are Looking For:

  • 2+ years of work experience in Digital Marketing
  • A proven track record of working with Klayvio & Shopify
  • 2+ years experience working with Google Analytics & understands how to use customer reports & secondary dimensions
  • Great project management skills
  • Understanding of eCommerce, social media and the various channels that drive customer acquisition
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Understanding of the luxury, beauty or lifestyle landscape
  • Shopify, Google Analytics, Klayvio experience is a must
  • Fast and willing to learn; curiosity and creativity are a must have
