The Role

As Ad Technology Director, this is a Pivotal senior-level strategic role:

  • Being a digital media technology expert within the agency

  • Platform integrations across the ad technology stack

  • Provide recommendations for the client across ad server(s), DSP, DMP, Paid Search and Paid Social

  • Technical and Operational point-of-contact for error escalation.

  • Workflow and process guidelines documentation, for data governance and best practices sharing.

  • Consult internally and externally around the role ad technology plays

  • Consulting with clients on technical projects

  • Assessing existing and new technology platforms for the agency

  • Staying ahead of the curve with digital media technology, through assessment and conducting market reviews

  • Efficiently working with the wider team to bring new products to market  

The Requirements:

  • Degree Educated, most likely in Computer Science, Marketing or related field

  • As a minimum, you’ll have 5+ years’ experience within digital advertising

  • You’ll be a whizz in all things ad technology – ad serving, DSP’s, DMP’s, Tag Management, Paid Search, Paid Social

  • Experience in technology management and ad operations

  • It is likely that you have experience working within a media agency or in-house environment

  • Ability to read, write JavaScript and HTML code

  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, jQuery, HTML and CSS

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
