The opportunity:

They own some of the best costume brands in the world and the most spectacular golf clothing brand in the world. An international, multi-channel retailer and their core area of expertise is Direct to Consumer sales through branded websites and Amazon Market Place. They’re growing quickly, have a team of 30 people and are based in central Edinburgh. 

The role:

They are looking for an excellent digital marketing manager or e-commerce manager to lead their Spectacular golf clothing brand! This will involve setting strategy, managing people and delivering revenue and profit targets across all channels. 

  • Define and deliver the growth strategies and priorities for a multi-million-pound brand.
  • Lead and deliver all elements of the branded e-commerce site: Customer acquisition, conversion optimisation and customer life-time-value.
  • Manage a direct report who is responsible for delivering the brand’s Amazon Market Place channel targets. The specific Amazon strategies and tactics are led by another team, but this team needs to tailor them to this brand.
  • Work closely with other business functions to execute all operational priorities.
  • Ensure senior management and the wider business are fully aligned on priorities and progress.

Your profile:

  • Very strong in digital marketing and e-commerce i.e. acquiring new customers, converting them to sale and maximising repeat.
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, excel and performance analysis.
  • Experienced in delivering multi-phase, multi-team projects.
  • Excellent at delivering through others and managing stakeholders.
  • Understands the importance of brands and can consistently execute a brand position to a high standard.
  • Excellent at thinking strategically, prioritising and evaluating new opportunities.
  • Excellent commercial grounding and understanding of the fundamentals of business - P&Ls, cash flow, % margin, absolute margin, marketing mix, business communication etc.
