I am working in exclusive partnership with on of the fastest growing grocery delivery brands in the world. A joint venture, with two of the biggest names in the sector giving them access to vast customer data, world leading tech, logistics & unrivalled product development.

 

The opportunity:

35% YOY growth, this business passed £2B in revenue in the last 12 months. Now doubling down on budget to scale their digital & tech teams even further. They have huge amounts of resource & data available to them across media, marketing & tech. This is a forward thinking brand that is growing quickly & looking to stay on the same trajectory in 2022. A mission driven brand, with  a close knit team who are extremely passionate about what they do.

 

The Role:

Working closely with teams across Customer (Performance and Brand Marketing, Merchandising) and Trading, to ensure overall sales meet growth forecasts are achieved, with all customer life stages and cohorts delivering their expected sales contributions.

  • Preparing, in collaboration with analysts, the short, medium and long term overall sales forecasts and producing scenario plans based on projected customer behaviour and influential internal and external factors.

  • Managing customer-facing launches and trading periods of scale effectively, ensuring timely delivery of customer communications and initiatives across marketing and merchandising.

  • Communicating sales ambition to stakeholders and peers and coordinating marketing, merchandising and trading plans to align with these sales targets.

  • Scoping and interpreting detailed analysis, reporting and research to effectively track KPI performance.

  • Building a roadmap of new commercial opportunities from scoping to implementation, including independent development of realistic commercial evaluations within owned areas.

  • Line management of a small team of colleagues.


Skills Required:

  • Experience in ecommerce, retail or other growth businesses (minimum 3 years)

  • Numerate and analytical thinking with the ability to apply these skills in a customer sales context.

  • Commercial acumen and strong problem-solving ability.

  • Inquisitiveness about customer motivations and human behaviour.

  • Flexibility and ability to prioritise and manage diverse activities simultaneously.

  • Capable of relationship management with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • Fantastic communication and teamwork skills.
