The Company:
They were created to reinvent the beauty shopping experience. Their platform compares the prices of thousands of beauty products, simplifying the beauty shopping experience and saving customers time and money.
They also work directly with e-commerce arms of beauty brands. They give shoppers a view of the whole market, spanning 2000 brands and 216,000 products across makeup, skin care, fragrance, hair, body, sun and tan, men’s grooming, oral care and nails.
This role will be operating in both the extremely busy UK & US markets. You will be exposed to the global email scene on a grand scale! As they grow, so will you.
The Role:
- Devise and implement email and push notification strategy
- Responsibility of email process from planning to deployment including email content/copy writing/imagery
- Use data and testing to optimize and improve content and targeting for all communications
- Identify, acquire, and integrate new tools and technologies for marketing automation
- Define, report on, and optimize key metrics
Your Profile:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the email marketing channel; ideally within the retail sector.
- Circa 2+ years’ experience using industry tools and analytics packages including email, web analytics, CRM and marketing automation platforms
- Confident using Excel.
- Analytical background and enjoyment working with data.
- Excellent copy writing skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines whilst remaining calm when under pressure
- Strong desire to learn with the ability to work independently
- An enthusiastic team player
