The Role:

Reporting to the Digital Director, this is a brand new role for the business. Sitting in the Growth & Technology function they are looking for someone to take complete commercial ownership of the app (finance, marketing, P&L etc…). The brand are known for having a strong wholesale offering, but DTC/.com is very much the priority & No.1 choice for customers. With internal engineering & product resource, they are now in the process of building & launching their own app.

 

Responsibilties:

  • The key lead in all things app.
  • Woking with your Digital colleagues, drive acquisition of new customers with App Install campaigns and conversion of existing customers to app users.
  • App development together with product team to define roadmap requirements, scaling reporting & tracking capabilities to support the growing app business. The heart of the app proposition is engagement and aligning brand values,
  • Create, manage the business case for future development, revenue and KPI forecasting working closely with the finance / commercial teams.
  • Weekly reporting on App performance and what’s working / not working.
  • Create a marketing plan on how to scale the app at a global level.
  • Create briefs to creative teams on how / what the marketing message will be for the app.
  • The candidate should be able to discuss examples of how they have creatively marketed apps they have worked on.
  • Omni-channel experience. Working with retail / VM teams on how to utilise the app in stores.

 

About you:

  • 7-10 years in a App based role
  • Extensive App marketing experience in a global business.
  • Commercial and data driven - business mindset on what commercially makes sense when launching an app business
  • Excellent communication skills and can work cross collaboratively with tech, digital marketing, finance and analytics.
  • Thought leader in the app marketing space.
  • Beauty experience is desirable otherwise extensive experience in a feature rich / future thinking app based business. We will be looking for transferable skills if the candidate has no beauty experience.
