We are working with one of the most vibrant & well-respected financial service providers in the market – trust me, you will know them! After making a number of strategic senior hires, they are now looking to scale their marketing efforts even further & are transitioning to become a technology first brand. With the performance marketing function being an extremely influential & visible team internally.

 

The opportunity:

With over 1.4m UK members & 25m globally, this highly rewarded & recognised business are now looking for a Head of Paid Acquisition to own & develop their performance marketing function. They already have large amounts of resource & budget available across media, marketing, tech & data. But this role will play a pivotal role in the long term development of the department & overall business growth. Joining & leading a close knit, collaborative team, who are passionate about what they do.

 

The Role:

  • Day-to-day management of all digital marketing campaigns, and accountability for their performance
  • Own media agency relationship working to define the roadmap and strategy for our channels
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the company including the sales, product and marketing teams to align campaign objectives to and prioritise objectives
  • Mentoring team members to develop their expertise
  • Run an agile team – prioritising work by their impact
  • Support Director of Performance Marketing with long term strategy and vision
  • Act as the senior point of contact for campaign execution and management
  • Drive thought leadership in digital marketing. Bring a passion for the subject and champion
  • Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends and techniques


Skills Required:

  • Extensive experience of digital marketing
  • Prior experience leading a high performing digital marketing team either in-house, or at a specialist agency
  • Demonstrable success in a prior role – growing revenue
  • Expert level knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook and Display Advertising
  • Proven track record managing senior stakeholders, communicating technical subjects clearly
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Data driven marketer – able to interpret complex data sets and comfortable with designing experiments to prove hypothesis
  • Advanced understanding of campaign automation including bid management, dynamic creatives and utilising audience data
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics and the wider Google Marketing Platform
