The Role:

 

  • Develop and execute the strategy and tactics for SEO.

  • Work closely with the creative, brand, supply and merchandising side of the organisation to implement the content creation and distribution processes based on search volume and other criteria

  • Work closely with the tech & product team to develop the organic search and content tech roadmap - we will expect you to have a deep hands-on understanding on web product and data solutions in the space.

  • Set the overall quarterly and monthly goals for the SEO channels - adjusting them when necessary to course correct poor performance and triple down on opportunities.

  • Lead complex deep dives to understand performance gaps and opportunities to unlock growth including website audits, crawl analysis, keyword research, etc.

  • Build the right reporting levels to drive company wide understanding of your channel. Define and roll-out a measurement framework for SEO performance and measurement.

  • Running a structured, documented process of channel optimisation and experimentation driven by metrics and based on customer and market insights.

  • Brief our creative and influencer marketing teams on organic search creative requirements and provide them with insights on creative themes that drive performance.

  • Evangelise across teams best practices for SEO across different pillars: technical foundations, content, PR, etc.

 

Your Profile:

 

First and foremost you've got a track record of leading SEO channels in a fast growing consumer focused marketplace or equivalent. You have a deep understanding of performance marketing concepts, metrics, analytics and technologies.

More specifically you tick most if not all of these boxes:

Channel expertise. You are one of the best in Europe in SEO. You understand technology and have tested a multitude of strategies and tactics in the past, and are ready to implement your learnings at Fy! at scale. You have a proven track record at scaling multimillion multisided marketplace in industries like travel, fashion or retail, which are highly search led.

 

Leading. You love building and leading, working cross functionally with other high performers. You have managed other paid social specialists in the past.

Collaborating. You're good with people, earn their respect, help them grow and learn & deliver their best.

 

Growth mindset. You're humble, curious and tenacious. You know that 80% of experiments fail but are methodical and relentless in learning.

 

Intensely motivated. You never give up and hold yourself and others to very high standards.

Scientific and artistic. You understand and can parse insights from different sources of truth (analytical, quantitive and qualitative) and have a intuitive sense for strong creative execution.

 

Structured and methodological. You're structured in your thinking and have experience building the right cadence of team and channel reporting processes and meetings that drive experiments and optimisation.

 

Impact focused. You know how to use data to prioritise and focus yourself and your team on the highest impact opportunities.

 

Creative and messaging. You understand classic marketing concepts such as AIDA, Problem / Solution, brand positioning and appreciate creative and messaging can have a profound impact on performance.
