Marketing Science Director – Global Media Agency

£80,000 + Benefits l Central London

An exciting opportunity to join an Agency who pride themselves on creating new innovative analytical products that help clients understand how to plan and activate the best marketing strategy possible.  They are looking for an experienced & ambitions Analytics enthusiast that’s able to translate data to meaningful insight. The Role

The Marketing Science Director will be responsible for working with clients as well as internal teams and the main responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the lead contact with clients, working with them from the start of the project, to set the strategy, then keeping them updated throughout the life cycle, to finally deliver the successful outcome.  

  • The aim of all the Marketing Data projects will be to deliver insightful and actionable products for both internal teams and clients directly

  • Once these analytics products have been created, the Marketing Science Director will ensure that the planning teams embed the tools in to their approaches when facing client challenges

  • Ability to understand client(s) business needs, define KPIs and the measurement

  • Provide technical leadership on projects to more junior team members

  • Understand the client’s business strategy to identify new products which support them and help them achieve their goals.  

Skills & Attributes

  • Experience of working in a data analysis role within a marketing or media agency.

  • Proven background of working with clients to understand their commercial goals  

  • A numerate or science degree E.g Economics, Statistics, Computer Science…

  • Good understanding of media analytics

  • Exposure of working with SQL or R /Python

  • Knowledge of MMM modelling would be desirable

  • Ability to manage stakeholders in order to drive projects across different channels
