The Role:

The Paid Search Account Director, manages all areas of Digital Search and PPC activation; translating client briefs into cohesive and innovative approaches for each client while following up to ensure that the highest standard of campaigns are delivered across the team and through your reports. Continuously reporting on campaign delivery, as well as new opportunities for clients across all areas of PPC buying. The Digital Activation Director is responsible for the management, support and mentoring of junior members of the team.

Working across multiple clients your day to day will be to:

 

  • Develop, manage, and coordinate all paid search strategies for your clients – developing client accounts to meeting their business goals. Working alongside the Client Experience and Strategy teams to optimise the role of search marketing in the wider media landscape
  • Create multi-month optimisation plans and experiment design, in conjunction with the broader DXT - Ensure all clients have a quarterly/yearly roadmap in place to develop their account and performance, with regular ‘post campaign’ assessments to track learnings.
  • Ensure Paid Search insight, planning and output across all PPC platforms (Search, GDN, YouTube and Mobile) are applied to all client brief responses. This will mean helping to define best in class approaches, use of all relevant data sets, channel and format selection, optimization strategies, content strategies, use of technologies to improve optimisation and measurement etc.  
  • Manage the flow of communications to and from clients, including meetings, presentations and reports - Deliver fantastic client servicing, and the relevant aspects of the Client Plan including the overseeing of accurate reporting, insight generation and ideation - Deliver clear and concise client presentations, ensuring rationale is robust to support planned proposal
  • Provide a detailed approach to day-to-day operations when leading the team - Educate and train direct reports on best practice in optimization and hypothesis design as well as the broader agency
  • Constantly seeking new business opportunities in line with Agency strategy and supporting new business pitches when required. 

 

Your Profile:

  • Has experience in working in Paid Search either in agency or client-side
  • Client facing experience
  • Planning and activation for brand and DR clients
  • Previous Experience of managing and mentoring junior team members desirable
  • Skills
  • Platform activation – campaign set-up and optimisations
  • Strong analytic skills for reporting
  • Strong excel skills including the use of pivot tables
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Confident communicator
  • Strong knowledge of all Biddable platforms
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise own workload
