We need a creative, commercially focused salesperson to work alongside our Advertising Director and establish long-term advertising partnerships and campaigns. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Proactively sell creative advertising opportunities to clients and their agencies across various categories. Collaborate with the Advertising Director to define category and client target accounts. Develop a robust prospect pipeline to achieve and exceed budgeted objectives. Identify key decision-makers and secure meetings to present our platform's value to advertisers. Build strong relationships with agency planning and buying teams, acting as a brand ambassador. Create and deliver compelling advertising proposals and packages, negotiating maximum value from each transaction. Provide exceptional account management, ensuring a professional and efficient production process to maximize revenues. Maintain accurate account records, including contacts, rates, market intelligence, and advertising performance. Regularly report and forecast revenue from your pipeline. Your Profile: Excellent track record in selling advertising solutions, including display advertising and partnerships. Ability to develop commercial relationships with customers within both agencies and client organizations. Proven ability to identify new prospects and revenue opportunities through innovation and curiosity. Interest in current affairs and digital publishing, with the confidence to position our platform as a game-changing solution for advertisers. Proficiency in developing and presenting compelling advertising concepts to agencies and clients. Tenacity and resilience in achieving a strong track record of new business development.
