The opportunity:

Since 2008 this business has grown rapidly to become one of the UK’s leading and most recognised consumer brands. They continue to transform the property landscape by delivering more transparency, certainty, and efficiency across every stage of the housing lifecycle for consumers and property professionals alike. Over 20,000 agents and new development customers currently use their service. Over 70 million website visits per month and they are looking to build on that significantly in 2022.

 

The Role:

 

  • Perform keyword research and make suggestions for content creation based on findings.
  • Work with content, creative, and development teams to optimize existing and launch new web assets in order to capture organic traffic.
  • Ensure all SEO requirements are met for new pages and existing pages.
  • Perform content gap analysis and areas for improvement in website content
  • Create detailed and insightful reports that will be used by the rest of the SEO team and senior management to communicate performance trends and key drivers.
  • Present regularly on what worked, what didn’t, and what’s next on the long list of tests you want to run.
  • Analyse competitor strategies to gain ranking insights and to help prioritize appropriately.


Skills Required:

  • Strong experience in SEO, either in-house or at an agency/consultancy.
  • Experience of using BigQuery, or other SQL based tools (not essential).
  • Familiar with SEO tools, such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, Moz and others.
  • Experience of making successful on-page and off-page SEO optimisations.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS and code structure including XML sitemap submissions, internal linking and keyword generation.
  • Analytically driven, familiar with Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Data Studio.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in Mathematics, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of different teams.
  • Highly motivated with ability to thrive in a fluid and demanding environment.
