I am working in partnership on a fantastic new SEO Account Manager opportunity with an established business who have been in the retail sector for over 180 years. They are widely respected in the retail sector and are on course for another great year after identifying further growth in their marketing team.

 

The opportunity:

  • Founded in 1849 in Asia, they conquered the Asian market and branched out to the European market in the early 2000’s
  • Over 16,400 Stores across Asia and Europe
  • 130,000 Employees across the business from Retail workers to the business engine behind all its success
  • Own some of your favourite high street stores
  • The world’s largest international Health and Beauty Retailer
  • Has identified further growth plans this year and huge investment has been made into their In-house marketing team.

 

The Role:

Ultimately you will be tasked with identifying the opportunities for each of the businesses, define an SEO strategy and then work towards implementing it. As part of this the main duties of the role will include:

Insights and Analysis

  • Perform keyword research
  • Undertake competitor analysis
  • Identify search trends
  • Report on weekly and monthly organic performance
  • Utilise these data sets to provide actionable insights

On-Site

  • Perform SEO audits providing on page and technical recommendations
  • Work closely with our developers and internal teams to implement the required changes
  • Collaborate with the UX and Design, eCommerce and Content teams

And Finally…

  • Build relationships with the European businesses
  • Upskill the business on SEO
  • Keep up to date with algorithm updates, changes to the search landscape and new opportunities

Skills

  • Experienced SEO professional, maybe as an SEO Manager, Senior SEO Exec or Strategist
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge and experience
  • Knowledge of paid search and how it can complement organic performance
  • Highly proficient with search and analytical tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident in presenting to senior stakeholders
