Are you an expert in all things SEO? Our client are a fast moving health and wellbeing start-up which provide products via a subscription service. They have a clear vision, purpose, incredible founders and are looking to expand their Growth team. You'd have the opportunity to lead SEO within the business as this business continue to grow hugely!

 

The Opportunity:

Founded in 2019, this start-up have recently secured $30 million Series A funding from some of the top investors who had previously invested in Peleton, Oatly, Deliveroo and FarFetch. They now boast a team of circa 50 employees in just 2.5 years, attracting top talent from companies including Amazon, Facebook, Deliveroo and Transferwise.

Their vision is a world where every man takes care of themselves and the world around them; and their vision is to partner with men to improve their everyday lives through better access to the health solutions that are right for their mind and body

This is an exciting time to join the UK's fastest growing men's health destination; this is a $170 billion market and our client have grown 4x year on year; plan to scale in 3 new countries, 10 new categories and they have grown from 30 to 50+ people in 2021, with significant more growth coming in marketing.

Their business model is D2C and has both a subscription and ad-hoc consumer purchase model.

 

Role: SEO Manager

We are recruiting a technically minded, creative-thinking SEO Manager. This opportunity is perfect if you really enjoy combining technical knowhow and creativity to drive growth in organic traffic and conversions!

You’d work alongside the growing team of developers and product managers, marketers and creatives, to bring to life best practice onsite technical SEO, plus practical and resourceful approaches for delivering scalable link building campaigns. Some of the key elements of the role include:

  • Develop and implement the international SEO strategy, securing top SERP positions to drive top-line growth

  • Perform regular onsite technical audits and make practical and prioritised recommendations for site improvements based on best practice

  • Coordinate with the product and development teams to prioritise and implement the SEO technical backlog/roadmap

  • Conduct robust keyword research and competitor analysis to help guide our expanding content creation processes and ongoing optimisation techniques in partnership with our Content Strategist

  • Plan, execute and evolve scalable link building initiatives – either in-house or working with external partners

  • Advise external PR agencies in SEO best practice for ongoing PR projects

  • Work together with the PPC team to optimise search campaigns and identify additional opportunities for organic growth

  • Develop SEO reporting frameworks to ensure visibility for key stakeholders

  • Own day-to-day campaign performance reporting and analysis, plus monitor and track competitor activity, backlinking strategies

  • Instil an SEO-first approach to all content creation and web development

 

In exchange, can you bring?:

  • 3+ years of international technical SEO experience (agency or in-house)

  • 3+ years worth of scalable outreach / link building experience (agency or in-house)

  • Proven experience of delivering clear commercial outcomes (ie. increase in traffic, conversions etc.) from SEO strategy inception to implementation

  • Extensive past use of a third party SEO tools (eg. Ahrefs, MOZ, Screaming Frog) and web analytics tools (eg. Google Analytics, WebTrends) etc.

  • Solid understanding of HTML CSS, JavaScript and current web standards

  • Prior experience working with cross-functional, remote or international teams in a startup/scale-up or high-growth business exposure
