Social Account Manager – Performance Agency

£30-36k + Benefits

 

The most awarded Agency in the UK are looking for a talented & experienced Paid Social Marketer to manage one of its largest accounts.

The Role:

By being part of OMD, you will be exposed to the campaign development process from beginning to end – working alongside an in-house creative team that influences comms planning, media, and strategy.

 

Day to day, you will support and lead the team through all facets of Paid Social:

 

  • Developing local and tailoring global strategies for up to 9 EMEA markets

  • Planning account development together with the account and creative teams

  • Applying best practices for Paid Social media

  • Aligning Paid Social media strategies with cross media plans in partnership with the planning and account teams

  • Build and manage client and internal relationships and comms

  • Liaise with partners and networks on strategy, new opportunities, best practices, and measurement

  • Promote creative integration and innovation

  • Manage budgets and spend pacing

  • Drive overall account strategy, and oversee execution, optimisation, and insights

  • Manage and improve cross functional reporting and measurement

  • Working alongside the global team based in Los Angeles

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6

 

The Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years relevant experience in Paid Social

  • Ability to sell Paid Social both internally and externally

  • Experience working in a media team, within a full service agency

  • Strong knowledge of technology / telco vertical

  • Excellent client facing skills, with polished presentation, communication, and analytical skills

  • Have strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects at once and work under pressure

  • Proactive approach to work

  • Proven experience in managing a team of at least 4 people

  • Hands on approach and passion for working in a fast-paced team

  • Ability to motivate and lead a team and manage up

  • Experience in working on regional or global accounts

  • Maintain gravitas, forward thinking and strategic initiative

  • Fully conversant with digital media and able to think across the whole media mix

  • Understanding of local media landscapes in EMEA

  • Proficient in Excel
