Pivotal are currently working with a global social media brand, who are currently revolutionising ecommerce through live stream shopping, in order to recruit ecommerce category managers across multiple categories.

Our client is currently looking to fill manager positions within Beauty, Home & Living, Books, FMCG and Small & Medium Business Categories.

Rolled out to the UK in 2021 this is the platforms first ecommerce location outside of Asia so the incoming category managers will have a huge input in the direction and success of the platform.

Being one of the largest brands in the world right now their e-commerce platform is expected to become one of the go-to platforms for brands in the next few years. 

The role will be divided into 3 main parts: merchant outreach, merchant development and working alongside brands and creators on the production of the live streams.


The Role

  • Identify and onboard merchant and creators onto the ecommerce platform
  • Manage end to end merchant relationships
  • Produce high quality ecommerce content and work alongside presenters and creators on the production of live streams
  • Utilise data to evaluate and prioritise business requirements
  • Work alongside cross functional teams to improve merchants selling experience
  • Communicate with key internal stakeholders


Experience Required

  • 3+ years of sales & account management experience within your relevant category (Beauty, Home & Living, Books, FMCG or Small & Medium Business)
  • Connections with sellers within your industry
  • A passion for social media and/or ecommerce 
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
