This is an opportunity to work within one of the largest global media agencies. This well known media agency has bases in over 100 countries, boasting market leading creative agencies and media brands under their umbrella. They collaborate with a huge amount of big name brands including high end luxury fashion brands, market leading entertainment brands and the most well known car manufacturers just to name a few! 

 

The Role

 

This is a pivotal role within the business with a primary focus not only across the groups client base, Delivering and growing programmatic spend and strategy but nurturing, leading and developing junior members. Alongside this, the trading manager will be responsible for:

 

  • Management of a team of Traders – Setting and supporting personal and career targets and playing an important role in more advanced training of the team    

  • Frequent trading in key agency DSP’s and comfortable with a multitude of optimization techniques

  • Comfortable with programmatic channels across the board - desktop, mobile, native, VOD, standard display, rich media and more

  • Using programmatic buying technologies – DSP’s, DMP’s to make buying decisions in order to optimise campaigns in line with KPIs

  • Acting as a programmatic trading specialist in order to liaise and advise clients across accounts

  • Lead development and asses performance of the more junior members of the team         

  • Working closely with internal teams, including the planning team, contributing to the programmatic approach when responding to briefs

  • Overall delivery and optimization of programmatic campaigns across the spectrum of Tier 1 clients

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Natural leader and comfortable with working collaboratively with multiple groups and individuals

  • Open to the development of trading techniques and personal trading knowledge with the view to deploying new trading initiatives

  • Happy to play a key part in training of the junior members and developing new training initiatives

  • Hands on experience with client management with clear and concise communication skills

  • Autonomous worker with a keen eye for attention to detail, taking pride in quality of work

  • Creative and ambitious eye to contribute to team and agency processes who is happy to commit to productive change
