Vice President, Business Development
Salary: up to c$250,000 + 50% OTE commission + benefits
Location: Remote across USA
Our client is a leading global digital agency who have recently received significant investment and are looking to grow significantly in the US, they are seeking a visionary business development leader to help them achieve their ambitous aims.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in defining and executing growth strategies, enhancing customer acquisition and retention, and forging strategic partnerships, with tier 1 and tier 2 clients. This role is key to propelling our client towards scalable and sustainable expansion in the US market.
The Opportunity
As the Vice President of Business Development, you will have three primary objectives: develop and execute growth strategies, lead customer acquisition and retention efforts, and drive partnership development. You'll leverage market intelligence, data analytics, and your leadership skills to ensure our client's continued success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement innovative growth initiatives.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
- Lead a team in executing customer acquisition campaigns.
- Implement retention strategies in partnership with the MD of Customer Solutions.
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships.
- Negotiate and manage partnerships to expand our reach.
- Utilize data analytics and KPIs to track and measure the effectiveness of growth strategies.
- Leverage CRM systems for targeted customer outreach.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing growth team.
- Develop and implement a competitive compensation program.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 10 years in the digital industry (ideally having experience within a marketing/advertising agency)
- 5+ years in business development leadership roles, driving growth strategies and new client pitches,
- Demonstrated a history of winning new business
- Strong knowledge of marketing and advertising
- Competencies: Strategic vision, business acumen, communication skills, and networking ability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
