Agency Sales Director – Programmatic Advertising (WPP Patch)
Salary – Up to £80,000 + Competitive OTE
Hybrid – 3 days in office | Central London HQ

Brilliant opportunity for a senior agency sales specialist to join a high-growth programmatic AdTech business with a standout reputation in the UK marekt. This business is high performing and is looking for someone to take ownership of their WPP agency relationships, one of their most strategic and revenue generating patches.

As Agency Sales Director, you’ll lead agency partnerships across GroupM and the wider WPP network, building on strong foundations and unlocking high-value opportunities through a consultative, solutions-led approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial relationships across key WPP agencies (GroupM, Mindshare, EssenceMediacom, Wavemaker)
  • Build and manage a high-value pipeline across programmatic and digital display campaigns
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to pitching to closing deals
  • Develop strategic account plans to increase spend and strengthen client partnerships
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Client Services, Trading, Marketing) to ensure client success
  • Represent the company at industry events and senior agency meetings

Experience

  • Proven experience in programmatic or digital media sales
  • Strong existing relationships within WPP agencies
  • Track record of hitting and exceeding revenue targets
  • Deep understanding of the programmatic landscape and trading models
  • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills
  • Confident presenting to senior stakeholders across planning and trading teams
