The Role
This is a new headcount and a high-priority hire, focused on owning the Manchester agency landscape. With limited competition in the region and proven success from a predecessor who stayed for 5+ years, the potential is huge.
You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own patch, build relationships with key Northern agency groups, and lead new business conversations—supported by unique planning and targeting tools that are making waves with clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and grow the Northern agency patch (Manchester HQ, travel to Edinburgh quarterly)
- Build strong relationships with planners, buyers, and strategists across key holding groups and independents
- Promote platform capabilities across awareness and performance KPIs
- Lead the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, closing, and growing accounts
- Work independently while staying connected with a highly supportive national team
What We’re Looking For
- Strong media agency contacts and a solid reputation in the North
- Proven track record in media sales, preferably across digital, programmatic, or adtech
- Independent, confident, and self-motivated – you’ll be given the freedom to run your own patch
- Collaborative, low-ego mentality – this team values support over showboating
- Someone who thrives without micromanagement, but who enjoys being part of a close-knit team
