Digital Marketing Assistant - Pivotal London

Up to £20k + Benefits

A fantastic digital marketing position, focusing on candidate acquisition and ROI to increase Pivotal's digital reach across our various recruitment channels.

 

The Company:

  • Our journey began in September 2014 when Justin, Chris and David took the plunge and left an established company and headed to Shoreditch with a unified vision to launch a digital first recruitment business with the underlying vision to become London’s Number 1 Digital Recruitment Company.

  • Now having grown into our 4th office, we are currently 18 people across 3 sectors (Digital Advertising, Digital Marketing, Analytics) and we recruit Permanent and Contract talent.

  • Our 2021 vision is to be a company of 40 people, as clear market leaders in each of the digital verticals that we recruit into.

  • We work with some of the World’s most exciting brands, agencies and media companies including COS, Deliveroo, Liverpool FC, Omnicom Media Group, Denstu Aegis, Havas and many more.

The Role:

  • Brand – promote Pivotal’s brand, promote and articulate our offering across all sectors so the Pivotal brand is one to remember.

  • Website & SEO – analyse and understand Pivotal.co.uk analytics to suggest a keyword strategy to drive google presence and ultimately candidate applications via the Pivotal.co.uk website

  • Digital Advertising - work with the Directors to develop and implement Paid Media strategies across Paid Social (Facebook), PPC, Retargeting, etc

  • Social Media - managing various social channels, including our LinkedIn, Twitter jobs feed and Facebook & Instagram pages, with the goal to build an engaged social community.

  • Content Marketing – manage and creating engaging content plan for the Pivotal blog with our key audiences.

  • Job Advertisements – posting Pivotal’s live roles on the sites, ensuring the job adverts are proof read and SEO optimised.

  • Job Boards – managing all aspects of job advertisements to ensure maximum exposure: researching new advertising opportunities and managing the LinkedIn recruiter page.

  • Candidate Referrals – create comms plan to engage with our passive candidates to encourage referrals and returns.

  • Email Marketing – creating and managing email campaigns, monitoring and analysing results through Mail Chimp

  • PR – launch and manage quarterly PR campaign to improve visibility in markets

  • Events – develop a strategy list of events to attend for the year with supportive marketing activity for each.

  • Design – develop brilliant, creative and eye catching marketing collateral

  • Internal Comms - keeping the company sales and marketing collateral accurate and up to date.

  • Employer Branding – develop Pivotal’s employer brand to help attract and retain talent at Pivotal to support growth.

 

The Requirements:

  • Previous digital marketing work experience

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in marketing

  • Experience with Google Analytics and SEO tools

  • Experience working in Microsoft Office

  • Experience of Paid Media tools including Google Adwords & Facebook Business Manager  

  • Experience of creative design software including InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro or Photoshop

  • Experience of website design and CMS systems

  • Strong understanding of how to use social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram

  • Possess a sharp eye for detail and be keen to develop both copywriting and proofreading skills

  • Be capable of producing accurate work to tight deadlines

  • Passionate about all things digital and technology related

  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
