Our client is at the forefront of technological innovation in the AdTech industry. After inception 4 years ago the business now boasts 3 offices in 3 continents and a team of 42 dedicated individuals whose main focus is to offer nonintrusive ways to get their clients adverts heard and then seen! They have taken the Audio Advertising markets by storm and have made good stride since 2020. Check out more below:

The 2 founders are ex-Google and they wanted a way to allow customers to enjoy playing their Mobile/ Console games without the need to stop and watch pop up ads. They have created one of the first audio-first, low-level banner ads, and the business is going from strength to strength. They confirmed a $21m Series A in 2023 (a huge feat considering the funding landscape last year) to fuel their growth ambitions and further focus on their tech and product teams to further ideate and continue the betterment of the product.

A strategic investment was to build their tech hub in Yas Island in Adu Dhabi. They have done this and they're looking for someone like you to lead their Engineering teams and play ana ctive role in the overall strategy of the Tech roadmap, manage a small (but growing) team and actively be involved in the coding sprints.


What You Will Do

  • Lead and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a high-performance environment.
  • Drive the design, development and delivery of high-scale software solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Actively participate in coding, code reviews, and architecture discussions to maintain technical excellence.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent, providing guidance and career development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements and deliverables, and work with your team to turn those into solutions.
  • Ensure the team follows best practices for software development, testing, and deployment.
  • Identify and resolve technical and organisational challenges, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.


What You’ll Bring To The Team

  • 8+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Demonstrable expertise in Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Extensive experience delivering high-scale, high-performance solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
