The Role
The role is working for an industry leading digital brand, with more than 700 employees worldwide and annual revenues of over £190m. Boasting highly impressive new offices based in the heart of London. The role itself is a Head of Analytics position, to manage and lead a growing and successful team of Analysts and Data Scientists (PhD level) with 10 direct reports.
Main responsibilities include:
- Understanding needs of other departments data (product, marketing and commercial) and being able to assess the best practices at the right time
- Guiding internal & external stakeholders on best analytical practises
- Improving the analytical tools and company’s data strategies, being able to communicate the best analytical insight to the business
- Partner with the Data Engineering and BI teams to strategically execute the data strategy and architecture
Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience leading an analytics function
- Track record of driving a collaborative environment
- Hands on experience using programming tools such as Python/R and SQL
- Experienced in a data culture – e.g. technology, ecommerce, banking or retail
- Understanding of digital analytics (google analytics) and optimisation tools (Redshift, Optimizely)
- A passion for advanced complex problems with a pragmatic approach
