The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Head of Performance to lead paid media effectiveness across a multi-brand digital environment. With a budget of £12–13 million and full responsibility for channel performance, you will drive growth and efficiency across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and Influencer marketing.

 

This is a strategic and hands-on role for a performance marketing expert who thrives on data, ownership, and results. You’ll work cross-functionally to connect performance insights to broader commercial outcomes, while building a scalable, future-proof acquisition engine. The business has high growth ambitions and is investing in digital as a key lever - making this an ideal opportunity for someone hungry to make an impact and lead transformation from within.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead paid media strategy, planning, and execution across a portfolio of e-commerce brands.
  • Own £12–13 million in annual paid media spend across Search, Social, Programmatic, and Influencer channels.
  • Design and implement smart budget allocation, channel mix strategies, and bidding models.
  • Tackle inefficiencies, including internal brand competition within auctions to maximise return.
  • Forecast seasonal trends and campaign performance to guide spend and investment decisions.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, data, and finance teams to connect spend to business outcomes.
  • Build the performance reporting infrastructure in collaboration with the data team.
  • Use Excel, SQL, BigQuery, and Tableau to analyse, model, and visualise campaign performance.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team of in-house marketers and agency/freelance partners.
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels with clear, data-led recommendations and insights.

 

Your Profile

  • 8+ years in Performance Marketing, Paid Search, or Digital Acquisition roles.
  • Strong expertise in Paid Search and Paid Social, with hands-on and strategic experience.
  • Proven success managing large, multi-brand media budgets and delivering commercial outcomes.
  • Highly analytical with advanced Excel skills and working knowledge of SQL and Tableau.
  • Confident in data modelling, forecasting, and translating insights into business strategy.
  • Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments with a high standard of execution.
  • Comfortable leading teams and working with freelancers/agencies.
  • Clear communicator with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners.
