We have partnered with a globally recognised HealthTech business that is truly changing the world for the better. The company has over 30 years of trading experience and has worked on some of the world's most groundbreaking bio-sensing, neurological, and health research breakthroughs.

The business focuses on and fits into 3 main verticals:

Deep Tech - Satellites, mobile comms, 5G, autonomous vehicles (drones, delivery trucks)

Life Sciences - diagnostics (cancer, lab equipment, PCR machines, LEX diagnostics)

HealthTech - includes sub-teams including:

Biosensors - Class III implantable devices. Monitoring things like glucose, and joint pain. As well as autonomous Drug Delivery and digital health - administering the correct dosage for patients in the home. Next-generation inhalers.

Eye Care - Smart glasses, next-gen eye contacts, and imaging.

Neuro Tech - Class III Neurological implants. Helping patients with Parkinson's tremors and, stroke victims

The business is experiencing huge growth due to recent partnerships, and new IP/ licensing agreements and will be looking to add 50 heads in the next 12 months. I have spent a lot of time with the senior leadership at their premises and I can honestly say that this is one of the most impressive, mission-driven businesses currently in the hiring space. I just hope I have brought the business alive enough for you to apply.

What you'll be doing:

  • You'll be working with the SLT and the Director of HealthTech to take full control of the strategy of the NeuroTech division.
  • You'll be relatively hands-off in the day-to-day execution but will be required to have deep, understanding conversations with the cross-functional teams across Mechanical, Electrical, and Software divisions - they don't expect you to code, or create designs in Adobe. But you must understand what is happening.
  • Boosting credibility for Phase 4 products and getting ready for manufacture.
  • The goal is to move the divisions' sub-teams towards their ultimate North Star.
  • Be the face of the business with their UK, EUR, and US client base. Requiring you to be in the US between 6-12 weeks per year to attend shows, and conferences and be an add-on to the sales team from a technical perspective.

Experience:

  • Come from a Mechanical or Electrical academic career.
  • Have experience in leading projects across NeuroTech AIMDs.
  • Understands the end-to-end process for Class III Medical Devices.
  • Has worked with contract manufacturers or built an internal manufacturing capability.
  • ISO understanding across ISO 13485 requirements.
