The Opportunity

This market leading Online Travel Agency is looking for a brand-new Head of SEO, reporting directly into the CMO. You will be leading a team of 2 (content and exec) who are responsible for 30% of the business revenue!

Their sites provide both price comparisons and bookings for their part of the travel industry. Their technology is so impressive that even some of their competitors pay to use it! The Digital Marketing team consists of 5 people and the Senior Management team comes with impressive track records. The company know how fundamental the Marketing team is to the success of the site and therefore this role has great exposure to the board.

Role:

You will play an integral role that will be growing and developing a global strategy.

  • Oversee & deliver clear organic search strategy
  • Site & content analysis, technical recommendations
  • Working in tandem with the content, sales, CRM & web development teams
  • Work with the sales team on partnership briefs. From a commercial point of view to prove value & effectiveness
  • Focus on developing seasonal content plans that align with Google algorithm changes

The role is split into:

  • 50% Strategy
  • 30% Tech
  • 20% Content

Your Profile:

  • 4+ years SEO Experience
  • Experience at a similar travel brand or high growth business
  • Proven track record of linking organic search activity to tangible business results
  • Strong communicator & business acumen
