Overview of the role :
A leading network agency is seeking an exceptional individual to join their multi-award-winning Create Team as the Head of Social. This role will be the go-to person for all things social, excluding paid media. The successful candidate will lead a team delivering exceptional social strategic solutions and industry-leading content and creator campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage strong senior client relationships and contracts for retained clients.
- Shape teams and processes to deliver on unique client requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and opportunities.
- Act as a thought leader, applying the latest news and developments to clients' business strategies.
- Oversee 'made for social' content production, ensuring it is detailed, extensive, cost-effective, and meets objectives and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the Head of Creativity and the Create Leadership team, spanning media creativity and partnerships.
- Leverage strong relationships with key social channels.
- Integrate social media strategies into the overall marketing plan.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 10+ years working across digital marketing in the Agency space
- 8+ years managing a team
- Strong knowledge and contact base in social media.
- Ability to stay abreast of the latest industry trends and developments.
- Expertise in creating and managing 'made for social' content.
- Proven track record of delivering cost-effective, high-quality content.
- Passionate about the role of social media in marketing.
- Knowledge of working with paid media specialists.
