Our client is at the forefront of technological innovation in the travel industry. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary Platform/API Product Manager to join their API team. Here, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and driving opportunities in the larger ecosystem.
As a Platform/API Product Manager, you will lead critical initiatives within our clients API team. This role offers the chance to build new capabilities and optimize existing products, driving our business towards established revenue and growth goals while ensuring scalability and flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Lead key initiatives within API team.
- Develop and optimiae products to achieve business goals.
- Build investment cases in collaboration with product leadership.
- Define success metrics, KPIs, and monitor product performance.
- Set delivery plans and roadmaps, prioritizing deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge technologies.
- Partner with Account Management and Business Development teams.
Experience
- 3+ years as a Platform or API Product Manager (6+ years overall as a PM) in technology-focused roles.
- Successful track record building large-scale API systems and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of API technologies and technical governance.
- Confidence in technical discussions and driving consensus.
- Experience breaking down complex platform solutions.
- Ability to measure the impact of platform work.
- Undergraduate Degree.
Nice-to-Haves
- Coding or software development experience.
- Experience working in two-sided marketplaces.
- Experience with external partners and developer communities
