Principal Product Manager - Platform

Hybrid (London/Oxford) or Remote

Up to £130k + Bonus + Stock

 

Our client is a forward-thinking, industry-leading technology company driving innovation in the world of travel and experiences. They are seeking a dynamic and visionary Platform Product Manager to join our team and help shape the future of our platform.

 

As a Platform Product Manager, you will lead key initiatives in core areas of our clients platform, such as booking management, logistics, and inventory management. This is your chance to build and optimise products that drive our business toward established revenue and growth goals while ensuring scalability and flexibility.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead key initiatives in critical areas of the platform.
  • Create new capabilities and optimise existing products to achieve business goals.
  • Build investment cases in collaboration with product leadership.
  • Define success metrics, KPIs, and monitor product performance.
  • Set delivery plans and roadmaps, prioritising deliverables for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cutting-edge technologies.
  • Innovate solutions to complex problems through collaboration.
  • Expand their ecosystem through robust APIs.

 

Experience

  • 3+ years as a Platform Product Manager (6+ years overall as a PM) in technology-focused roles.
  • Successful track record building large-scale API systems and frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of API technologies and technical governance.
  • Confidence in technical discussions and driving consensus.
  • Experience breaking down complex platform solutions into milestones.
  • Ability to measure the impact of platform work and pivot when necessary.
  • Undergraduate degree.

 

Nice-to-Haves

  • Coding or software development experience.
  • Two-sided marketplace experience.
