About the Role
As Senior Business Development Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving agency growth by generating new client opportunities, nurturing key relationships, and supporting the full pitch lifecycle. Working alongside the Director of Business Development, this is a highly collaborative, hands-on role focused on expanding the agency’s already impressive client roster.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and manage a pipeline of new business leads and opportunities
• Maintain and grow a CRM system to support lead generation and tracking
• Develop and manage relationships with prospective clients and procurement teams
• Support and lead elements of agency pitches, RFP responses, and client presentations
• Coordinate closely with Marketing to leverage PR, award wins, and social channels
• Onboard new clients post-win, working cross-functionally with account teams
• Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts
• Represent the agency at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
About You
• Minimum 5 years' experience in sales or business development roles
• Strong understanding of media agency operations or media owner environment preferred
• Confident communicator, relationship builder, and natural networker
• High energy, highly organised, and commercially focused
• Resilient, proactive, and excited by a fast-paced, sociable team environment
• CRM proficiency and good data literacy
