I am working in partnership on an exciting new ‘SEO Manager” position with a stellar name within the UK publishing space.

The opportunity:

The Role:

  • Develop and execute SEO strategies across internal commerce content to drive organic traffic and increase the visibility of this content in SERP’S.

  • Work with external partners to help develop authority for content they manage on their behalf.

  • Conduct keyword research, analyse website data, and stay up-to-date with search engine algorithm changes to ensure their website stays ahead of the curve.

  • Identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, duplicate content, and broken links.

  • Monitor website traffic and engagement metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including content, design, and product, to ensure all website content is optimized for SEO best practices.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all SEO-related communication with external content partners.

  • Conduct regular audits of their affiliate partner websites to ensure they are optimized for SEO best practices.

  • Oversee and manage PPC campaigns to drive traffic and revenue to our website and affiliate partners.

  • Track and analyse campaign performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve campaign goals.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with external content partners and agencies.

  • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization techniques.

  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.

  • Proven track record of successful SEO and PPC campaigns that have driven traffic and revenue to websites and affiliate partners.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.

  • E-commerce or affiliate marketing experience is essential.
