Social Media Strategist - Independent Creative Agency

Salary: £40k - £45k

 

The company:

  • They are a fully independent digital creative agency with a growing client base

  • Since their creation in 2004, they operate a highly integrated and collaborative setup to ensure the most efficient all-round service to their clients.

  • Clients range in a variety of industries – from automotive to technology and Insurance

  • Currently operating an overall team of 30, with a view to expanding to 40 by end of next year.

  • Based in vibrant Central London offices within a dynamic and creative environment.

 

The Role:

  • End-to-end campaign involvement on a number of their large clients.

  • Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and liaising closely with the client services and creative teams to produce well-rounded campaigns.

  • Social media is the main focus of their digital campaigns, with this role having an equal focus between paid and organic social media campaign strategy.

  • In terms of accounts, your role will focus on BP and Avis on their international campaigns (EMEA and APAC markets), as well as having ad-hoc input into the running of their largest clients; Hyundai.

  • Campaigns will be focusing on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter for B2C activity and Linkedin for B2B.

  • For this role, use of platforms such as Brand Watch, Global Web Index and Sport Social are desirable. But overall, The individual they require is somebody who is forward-thinking, outgoing, sociable and highly competent in the various facets of paid and organic social media campaigns.

 

The Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience working on paid social campaigns

  • Proven hands-on experience with DR and Brand-focused paid social activity.

  • Have a deep understanding of wider digital advertising sector and specifically how paid search works within an integrated digital marketing strategy

  • Hands-on work with organic social campaign creation and strategy.

  • Analytical thinker who is confident working with data and numbers with a keen eye to detail

  • Open-minded, flexible and have a positive attitude toward new challenges, with a willingness to learn, embrace new technologies and business change

  • Confident communicator able to build relationships across teams and at all levels with an appetite to challenge convention
