Senior Vice President, Data Solutions (GCP)
Salary: c$250,000 - $300,000 + 15% bonus + benefits
Location: Remote across USA - need to able to visit Google offices
Our client is a leading global digital agency who have recently received significant investment. They are seeking a visionary data solutions leader to shape their data strategy building the Google Cloud consulting department from near zero. In this role, you will drive brand awareness, deliver client-centric solutions, and have a global impact, all while strengthening their presence on the Google Cloud Platform.
The Opportunity
As leader of data solutions you will drive the agency's vision as GCP experts by building and hiring a team of experts and creating client-centric transformational strategies and design solutions with a global impact. Your work will harness the power of data to drive our client's success and elevate their position within GCP consulting.
Responsibilities
Build the Data Solutions Capability:
- Develop a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the agency's vision and objectives.
- Lead the creation and deployment of advanced data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven products.
- Execute client solutions as part of the delivery team.
Market Expansion:
- Rapidly introduce data consulting solutions to the market.
- Identify emerging trends, customer needs, and opportunities.
- Develop Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies and partnerships.
- Drive digital transformation across all platforms and solutions.
- Articulate client value and identify opportunities for new business.
Operational Excellence:
- Build a scalable delivery model for data solutions.
- Implement efficient processes to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Drive Global Cloud best practices across all markets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in a quantitative discipline
- Google Cloud Architect certification required (or the ability to be certified within 30 days)
- Minimum of 10 years in the digital industry
- Experience in GCP, marketing analytics, SQL, and statistical methods
- Marketing analytics experience preferred
- Experience SAS, Python or R (Python preferred)
- Experience leading data science infrastructure strategy and implementation
- Experience presenting and pitching for business
- People management experience is essential
