Patrick Rodowicz, Head of Insight at Simply Business will be joining an exciting list of expert speakers at this month’s upcoming CRAP Talk, scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 31st .

Patrick’s experience
As the Head of Insight at Simply Business, Patrick spends most of his time working collaboratively with stakeholders from just about every aspect of the organisation to empower decision makers with great data and actionable insights.
Having graduated from New York University with a degree in Mathematics, he worked across a variety of fields (including teaching, legal, and financial regulation) before finding his way to data and analytics.
Since joining Simply Business four years ago, Patrick has been scaling and building the company’s Insight function, to keep pace with its quickly growing and increasingly ambitious expansion plans. And Patrick has played a pivotal role in instilling an experimental, data-driven mindset throughout the entire company.

Patrick will draw on his experience at Simply Business and explain how you can improve your testing processes.
“Simply Business has tripled in size since I joined four years ago. When I first started with the company, I was confronted with scattergun testing that weren’t providing enough statistical rigor. I’m going to talk though the importance of centralising your tests and how you can manage these processes as your company scales up and becomes increasingly complex.”
“I will also touch on how you can sell your story to stakeholders. I understand that everyone is busy and often working at 100 miles per hour, so a lot of emphasis needs to be placed on how do you convince people. It’s about getting your experimentation and vision right!”
