2021 Digital Skills & Recruitment Survey Results

The results are in! 

A total of 150 participants from a range of industries across media, programmatic, and digital marketing completed our 2021 Digital Skills and Recruitment Survey. 

Here are the findings: 

  • Hiring is likely to be most active with intermediate manager and junior entry-level roles in 2021
  • The most important technical skills that hiring managers will be looking for in 2021 include Paid Social, Paid Search, Programmatic Display, Data Management, and Advanced Analytics. 
  • Over 60% of hiring managers find it challenging finding qualified candidates with up-to-date skills 
  • Analytical skills, interpersonal and team skills, drive and ambition, are among the most important soft skills that hiring managers will be looking for in 2021
  • 90% of hiring managers say their business will be actively hiring in H1 2021
