Freelance App Growth & ASO Consultant

Remote | Initial 2-Month Contract | Immediate Start

 

We're working with a fast-growing consumer digital business that is looking for an experienced Freelance App Growth & ASO Consultant to support its mobile growth strategy during an exciting period of expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys joining high-growth businesses, identifying opportunities quickly and making an immediate commercial impact.

Whilst App Store Optimisation is a key part of the role, this is not a pure ASO position. We're looking for someone with a broader understanding of mobile growth, user acquisition and app performance.

The Role

You'll work closely with the internal marketing team to drive app growth across both organic and paid channels, helping improve app visibility, installs, conversion rates and customer engagement.

Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Developing and executing App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategies across the Apple App Store and Google Play

  • Improving app discoverability, keyword rankings and store conversion rates

  • Identifying opportunities to increase app installs and user acquisition

  • Analysing app performance and customer behaviour to drive continuous optimisation

  • Supporting mobile acquisition activity across paid channels

  • Working with app analytics and attribution platforms to measure performance

  • Collaborating with marketing, product and ecommerce teams on growth initiatives

  • Recommending and implementing quick wins alongside longer-term growth opportunities

About You

You'll ideally have experience across most of the following:

  • App Store Optimisation (ASO)

  • Mobile app growth and user acquisition

  • Consumer app, ecommerce, marketplace or subscription businesses

  • App analytics and attribution tools such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Firebase or GA4

  • Paid acquisition across app channels including Apple Search Ads, Google App Campaigns, Meta or TikTok

  • Improving installs, app store conversion rates, retention and engagement through hands-on optimisation
