ASO & App Growth Manager
Salary: £50,000–£55,000
Location: London (3 days office-based, hybrid working)
Our Client is a market-leading digital commerce platform with millions of engaged users and ambitious international growth plans. Following significant success with its mobile app, the business is now investing in a dedicated app growth specialist to transform an emerging channel into a major revenue driver.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to build and own an app growth function from the ground up within a high-growth digital business.
- Take full ownership of App Store Optimisation (ASO) strategy across iOS and Android.
- Play a key role in scaling a mobile app already generating meaningful revenue with minimal optimisation.
- Work directly with an entrepreneurial founder in a highly autonomous environment.
- Influence growth strategy ahead of international expansion and a critical peak trading period.
- Build the foundations of a mobile channel with significant untapped organic growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute ASO strategies across Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and optimise app metadata to improve rankings.
- Drive store listing conversion through testing and optimisation of creative assets, screenshots, and copy.
- Monitor app performance, ratings, reviews, installs, retention, and conversion metrics.
- Build reporting dashboards and provide data-driven recommendations for growth.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, CRM, and Marketing teams to maximise app performance.
Your Profile
- Proven experience delivering ASO strategies across iOS and Android platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify growth opportunities.
- Experience working in a test-and-learn environment with a focus on measurable outcomes.
- Commercially minded, with an interest in how app growth impacts wider business performance.
- Comfortable working independently and building processes from scratch.
- Experience within eCommerce, marketplaces, consumer apps, or digital products would be advantageous.
