The Role

As Associate Director you will lead the development of strategic communications plans. You will be the go-to expert on client planning needs, with end-to-end responsibility across the planning process—from insight generation to post-campaign analysis.

Working closely with clients and internal teams and mentor and manage junior team members, ensuring top-tier planning outputs, and helping shape the next generation of strategic talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation and delivery of comprehensive communication plans across all media touchpoints
  • Collaborate across strategy, partnerships, creative, tech, and analytics to align efforts with client goals
  • Present strategic planning recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of training resources and planning tools.
  • Support junior team members’ growth
  • Participate in new business pitches and RFP responses when required.

About You

  • Experience in a media agency or similar environment, with a proven track record in communications planning
  • Strong understanding of the full media ecosystem and consumer behaviour trends
  • Ability to synthesize insights and data into clear, compelling planning narratives
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including managing and developing junior team members
  • Skilled in managing client relationships and delivering strategic recommendations
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills
