Freelance Business Director (Client Leadership) – Government Account | £420 p.d | Outside IR35 | Immediate Start
We’re currently working on a very urgent brief for 2x Freelance Business Directors to join a newly won Government account within a leading global media agency.
This is a pure client leadership role – not planning or activation-led – focused on owning senior client relationships and driving the day-to-day direction of a complex, high-profile account.
Key details:
- £420 per day
- Outside IR35
- London hybrid (flexible due to urgency)
- Immediate start
The role:
You’ll act as the senior client lead on a Government account, responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, coordinating internal specialist teams, and ensuring smooth delivery across all workstreams.
This is a fast-moving, high-visibility environment where strong client leadership, gravitas, and the ability to manage complexity are essential.
We’re looking for:
- Strong media agency Client Leadership / Business Director experience
- Proven experience managing large, complex or regulated accounts
- Confident leading senior stakeholder relationships
- Ability to operate as the main client-facing lead (not planning-led)
- Experience working in matrixed agency environments
