Ecommerce Growth Manager

Central London (Hybrid – 3 days in office) | Permanent | Up to £65,000

Our client is a fast-growing, premium DTC brand operating in the health, wellness and performance nutrition space.

Having built a loyal customer base, a highly engaged community and an expanding product portfolio, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth. With strong commercial momentum and ambitious expansion plans, they're looking to strengthen their ecommerce capabilities and unlock the next stage of profitable growth.

The Opportunity

Join an ambitious, entrepreneurial consumer brand at a pivotal stage in its growth journey.

Take genuine ownership of ecommerce performance, driving improvements across conversion, average order value, customer experience and onsite revenue.

Play a key role in scaling an established DTC business, identifying commercial opportunities and turning customer and performance data into measurable results.

Work directly with the Head of Growth in a lean, collaborative environment, with the autonomy to shape the ecommerce roadmap and make a tangible impact.

Combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, owning everything from Shopify trading and product launches to onsite optimisation and experimentation.

Responsibilities

Ecommerce Growth & Commercial Ownership

  • Own the day-to-day commercial performance of the DTC website, with accountability for revenue, conversion rate, AOV and key ecommerce metrics.

  • Analyse trading performance, customer behaviour and conversion funnels to identify opportunities for growth.

  • Develop and execute initiatives to improve onsite conversion, basket size, product discovery and checkout performance.

  • Optimise product bundling, cross-selling, upselling and subscription uptake to improve customer value and commercial efficiency.

  • Work closely with the wider growth team to ensure onsite performance supports acquisition efficiency and long-term customer value.

CRO & Customer Experience

  • Build and manage a data-led roadmap of onsite improvements and conversion opportunities.

  • Identify friction points across landing pages, product detail pages, navigation, basket and checkout.

  • Develop hypotheses, run A/B tests and evaluate results to inform future optimisation.

  • Use analytics, customer insights and behavioural tools to understand how customers interact with the website.

  • Continuously improve the customer journey, balancing commercial performance with a premium brand experience.

Shopify & Ecommerce Execution

  • Take hands-on ownership of Shopify, ensuring the website is commercially effective, well-maintained and optimised.

  • Manage product launches, collections, merchandising, promotions and onsite campaigns.

  • Oversee website updates, app integrations and ecommerce functionality.

  • Work with external development partners to deliver site enhancements and new features.

  • Ensure ecommerce activity is executed accurately and efficiently across the trading calendar.

Collaboration & Data-Led Decision Making

  • Partner closely with paid media, creative, brand and retention teams to create a joined-up customer journey.

  • Translate ecommerce data into clear commercial recommendations and prioritised actions.

  • Monitor and report on performance, identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

  • Take ownership of projects from initial insight and business case through to implementation and measurement.

  • Bring a proactive, commercially minded approach to solving problems and driving growth.

Your Profile

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce, ideally within a fast-growing DTC consumer brand.

  • A demonstrable track record of contributing to the growth and scaling of a DTC business, ideally through the £10m–£20m revenue stage.

  • Strong commercial understanding of ecommerce performance, including revenue, conversion rate, AOV and customer economics.

  • Hands-on Shopify experience, with confidence managing and optimising an ecommerce website.

  • Comfortable analysing data, identifying opportunities and making commercially informed decisions.

  • A solid understanding of CRO and A/B testing fundamentals, with experience improving the onsite customer journey.

  • Experience across product pages, landing pages, merchandising, bundles, upselling and checkout optimisation.

  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery.

  • Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment where ownership, initiative and execution are essential.

  • Experience within health, wellness, nutrition, beauty or other repeat-purchase DTC categories would be advantageous.

What's On Offer

  • Join a fast-growing, premium consumer brand with ambitious plans for its next phase of expansion.

  • Genuine ownership of ecommerce growth and the opportunity to directly influence commercial performance.

  • Work closely with the Head of Growth and senior leadership in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

  • The opportunity to shape and execute the ecommerce roadmap rather than simply maintain an existing operation.

  • A highly engaged customer community, established product range and exciting new product development plans.

  • A commercially impactful role offering significant autonomy, visibility and scope to develop.

  • Competitive salary of up to £65,000, with hybrid working from a central London office three days per week.
