Freelance SEO Specialist – Real Estate Client (Ongoing Retainer)
We are currently supporting a fast-growing independent media agency in the search for an experienced Freelance SEO Specialist to work on a newly secured real estate client.
This is a long-term freelance engagement, offered on a retainer basis equivalent to approximately 1 day per week (minimum 4 days per month), with scope to increase depending on client requirements and campaign activity.
The role will focus on supporting organic growth for a multi-site, service-led real estate business operating in a competitive digital environment. The emphasis is on improving search visibility, traffic quality and conversion performance through ongoing SEO optimisation.
Scope of work includes:
- Regular technical SEO audits and implementation of recommendations
- Keyword research aligned to service offerings and user intent
- On-page optimisation including metadata, headings and internal linking
- SEO-led content recommendations and briefs
- Monitoring performance using SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush or equivalent)
- Identifying and resolving crawl, indexing and site health issues
- Monthly reporting with insights, actions and performance tracking
- Contribution to client meetings alongside the agency team
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on SEO experience across technical and content SEO
- Experience working with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and GA4
- Comfortable working independently within a retained, ongoing engagement
- Strong understanding of SEO for service-led or multi-page websites
- Confident communicator with experience producing clear, insight-led reporting
Working arrangement:
- Remote (UK-based)
- Manchester-based candidates may also work hybrid/in-office if preferred
- Approx. 4 days per month minimum, with scope to increase
- Day rate: flexible
