Our client is a fast-growing ecommerce growth business helping ambitious DTC brands improve conversion, customer value, retention and overall commercial performance.

Historically recognised for their strength in CRO and experimentation, the business is now evolving into a much broader ecommerce growth consultancy — focused on helping brands identify and unlock meaningful commercial growth opportunities across the full customer journey.

Working with a portfolio of exciting consumer and ecommerce brands, they combine strategic growth thinking, customer insight, optimisation, UX, retention and AI-enabled tooling to deliver measurable business impact.

This is a genuinely high-ownership opportunity to help shape the future direction of the Growth function within a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional CRO or experimentation role.

The business is looking for someone who can operate as a strategic ecommerce growth leader — someone able to quickly diagnose commercial growth opportunities across ecommerce brands and influence both internal thinking and client strategy.

You’ll work across areas such as conversion, retention, customer journey optimisation, offer strategy, merchandising, landing page experience, customer value and broader ecommerce growth performance.

The role combines strategic thinking, leadership, commercial problem solving and hands-on growth ownership.

You’ll also play a key role in helping shape frameworks, ways of working and the future evolution of the wider Growth function internally.

Responsibilities

Strategic Ecommerce Growth Leadership

• Diagnose ecommerce growth opportunities across client brands and customer journeys
• Develop commercially impactful growth strategies across conversion, retention, AOV and customer value
• Identify the right approach for different client contexts — whether testing, implementation, repositioning or optimisation
• Influence wider ecommerce growth thinking across the business

Growth Strategy & Commercial Optimisation

• Work across onsite experience, merchandising, customer journey friction, landing pages and offer strategy
• Analyse customer behaviour and performance data to identify growth opportunities
• Support ecommerce brands with strategic prioritisation and practical growth recommendations
• Help shape scalable growth frameworks and delivery methodologies internally

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Support and elevate Growth Strategists within the business
• Collaborate closely with leadership, product, analytics and wider growth teams
• Contribute to the evolution of internal AI-enabled growth tooling and productised delivery models
• Operate as a visible and influential leader within a fast-growing environment

Your Profile

• Strong background within ecommerce growth, CRO, ecommerce strategy or digital growth leadership
• Commercially minded with broad ecommerce understanding beyond experimentation alone
• Experience across areas such as CRO, retention, merchandising, customer journey optimisation, CRM, UX or ecommerce trading
• Strong strategic thinking and ability to influence direction internally and externally
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, entrepreneurial and high-ownership environments
• Leadership experience or strong leadership potential within ecommerce growth functions
