Head of Paid Media

I'm currently partnering with a growing independent media agency to recruit a Head of Paid Media.
This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced Paid Media professional looking to take ownership of an established function and play a key role in the agency's continued growth. Reporting into the Senior Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for defining the Paid Media strategy, leading and developing the team, driving commercial performance, and building long-term client relationships.
Please note that this is a Manchester-based position requiring attendance in the office three days per week. This is not a remote opportunity.
The role will include:
• Leading the Paid Media function across Paid Search and Paid Social.
• Defining and delivering the agency's Paid Media strategy.
• Managing, mentoring and developing a high-performing team.
• Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Supporting new business activity and contributing to commercial growth.
• Driving best practice, innovation and continuous improvement across the department.
We're looking to speak with candidates who have:
• Proven leadership experience within a Paid Media agency environment.
• Strong expertise across Paid Search and Paid Social.
• Experience building and developing successful teams.
• Excellent commercial awareness and senior client management skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to support and mentor Paid Media specialists.
