Head of Performance – Iconic Global Travel Brand

Salary: £100,000 – £125,000
Location: London (2–3 days per week in the office)

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most iconic, purpose-led brands in global luxury travel, currently undertaking a significant digital transformation supported by major investment.

With over 40 years of heritage and a growing multi-brand portfolio, the group connects discerning travellers with the world’s last remaining wild places through experiences that directly support conservation, culture and community. They are now entering a high-growth phase and building a best-in-class central performance function at their London HQ.

The Role — Own & Scale the Global Performance Engine

As Head of Performance, you will own a £12–13m annual paid media budget across Search, Social, Programmatic and Influencer, driving full-funnel acquisition and improved lead quality across three luxury travel brands.

This is a hands-on yet highly strategic leadership role where you will:

  • Lead and develop a 10-person performance marketing team

  • Own global strategy for Search, Social, Programmatic and Influencer

  • Improve lead quality, reduce CPL, and increase funnel efficiency

  • Build forecasting models, budget allocation frameworks and performance plans

  • Lead weekly performance “war rooms” to diagnose issues and drive optimisation

  • Partner cross-functionally with Data, Product, Brand, Creative, CRM and Commercial teams

  • Build the reporting infrastructure: LTV, CAC, attribution, signal design, BigQuery/Tableau

  • Identify structural inefficiencies and create a roadmap for scalable, sustainable growth

What They’re Looking For

A commercially sharp, data-led performance marketing leader who thrives in high-growth environments and enjoys building systems, teams and strategy from the ground up.

Essential Experience:

  • 8+ years in Performance Marketing / Paid Media leadership

  • Track record managing multi-million-pound budgets across multiple markets

  • Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta, Programmatic, Attribution & LTV/CAC modelling

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams (5–10 people)

  • Highly analytical — Excel required; SQL/BigQuery/Tableau a strong plus

  • Strong cross-functional communicator with excellent commercial judgement

  • Strategic operator who is also comfortable being hands-on when needed

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

  • Backed by a major PE firm and entering a digital scale-up phase

  • Full ownership of a large, global performance budget

  • Direct impact on a mission-led organisation with conservation at its core

  • Significant investment into data, analytics and marketing technology

  • Opportunity to build and shape the performance engine across three luxury brands

If you’re looking for a role where you can genuinely shape the performance function of a global business — with the autonomy, investment and strategic influence to drive meaningful impact — this is one of the most exciting opportunities in the market.
