Merchandising and Ecommerce Lead - £70k-£80k
About the Company:
Join one of the fastest-growing consumer brands in the UK, a certified B Corp that is redefining their category through product innovation, sustainability, and unforgettable customer experience.
This brand has built a passionate community, achieved record-breaking growth in the past year, and recently ranked in the top tier of the UK’s most rapidly scaling business
The Opportunity (The "Why")
This individual will be the architect of our next growth phase. You aren’t just managing existing stock; you are building the next iteration of our product portfolio. This role is the "unlock" for the next 24 months—determining what the brand sells, how it’s priced, and how it’s bundled to maximize customer value. You will bridge the gap between high-level demand planning and the live offer strategy on our website.
The Role (The "What")
Reporting to the Director of Growth , you will sit at the high-impact intersection of product, marketing, and operations.
Core Pillars of Responsibility:
- Portfolio & Category Expansion: Lead the charge on pricing strategy and new category expansion, defining the future product roadmap and commercial models.
- Revenue Architecture: Fully own the levers driving unit economics, specifically using AOV (Average Order Value) and strategic bundling to extend customer LTV.
- The Growth Bridge: Act as the "glue" between Growth, Finance, Ops, and Supply Chain. You will lead weekly Ops meetings and unblock challenges to ensure demand plans align with stock availability.
- E-Commerce Ownership: In the absence of a dedicated "E-com Team," you own the digital storefront and how product positioning comes to life online.
- Commercial Strategy: Develop merchandising strategies tailored to the full customer lifecycle—new, existing, and churned cohorts.
- Margin Guardianship: Own and track SKU-level product margin performance to ensure all growth aligns with commercial targets.
You (The "How")
We are looking for a sharp, commercially minded leader who thrives on detail and complex problem-solving.
What You Bring:
- Experience: 5+ years in merchandising, with a preference for DTC or eCommerce backgrounds.
- Strategic Demand Planning: Ability to align what we buy (Ops/Supply) with what we sell (Growth).
- Commercial Communication: The ability to be the "face of comms" across the business, speaking fluently to Finance (margins), Ops (stock), and Growth (acquisition).
- Technical Proficiency: Detail-oriented and systems-savvy; you know how to manage SKU architecture and product setups accurately.
- Lean Leadership: You are a high-impact individual contributor today, with the mindset to build out an E-commerce function as we scale.
Salary & Location
- Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE) + bonus.
- Location: Euston, London. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in-office.
